Dices Agency includes generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) in every SEO plan. It is for businesses whose buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI answers about their category. We fix your site, publish pages that answer what buyers ask and build authority on other sites.
Every month we check the same buyer questions and keep dated screenshots of each answer. Plans start at $1,500 a month. Start with a free audit: two or three real problems on your site, and how to fix them.
Every result on this site shows its date and its source. How we handle claims and sources
In plain words
- SEOSearch engine optimization: Google’s normal results
- AEOAnswer engine optimization: the direct answer to a question
- GEOGenerative engine optimization: the answer an AI tool writes
What generative engine optimization means
Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is the work that helps a business get named in AI answers. Tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers now write replies to buyer questions. Each reply names a few businesses, and GEO helps you be one of them.
It is mostly the same work as good SEO, done properly. A readable site, pages that answer real questions and authority from other sites also help AI tools find you.
So at Dices, GEO is not sold on its own. It sits inside every SEO plan, next to the work Google already rewards.
GEO, AEO and SEO compared
Three names for work that overlaps. Here is what each one aims for, where it shows and what we measure.
SEO
- What it aims for
- Google’s normal results
- Where it shows
- Google’s list of results
- What we measure
- Positions and clicks, in your Search Console
- The work
- Shared, so at Dices it is one plan
AEO
- What it aims for
- The direct answer to a question
- Where it shows
- Answer boxes and AI answers at the top of the results
- What we measure
- Who gets named for your tracked buyer questions
- The work
- Shared, in the same plan
GEO
- What it aims for
- A written answer from an AI tool
- Where it shows
- Tools that write an answer, like ChatGPT and Gemini
- What we measure
- Who gets named for your tracked buyer questions
- The work
- Shared, in the same plan
AI search is new, so we measure it from day one
That is why we show you the method before anything else. The free audit gives you a snapshot of where you stand today. Then we measure from day one, with dated screenshots of the same buyer questions.
We never borrow proof from another service. And we never promise what an AI answer will say next.
The method
How our AI search optimization services work
The same method as every plan, applied to AI search: Fix. Publish. Build. Prove.
Fix: a site Google and AI tools can read
Technical problems come first, plus the pages that already get traffic, because the quickest wins live there. We make the SEO fixes ourselves and explain each one.
Then the pages buyers land on get clear titles, headings and internal links. Development work beyond SEO fixes goes to your developer, or we quote it separately.
Publish: pages that answer what buyers ask
Every month, pages and articles around the questions buyers ask. Each is written so Google and AI answers can both use it. Fact first, then the claim, with a source for every number.
Articles run up to 1,500 words, AI-assisted, with a person checking every piece. Growth adds 2 new or rebuilt landing pages a month, and Scale adds 4.
Build: authority on real sites
Links from real websites that meet our written link quality bar. In one line: DR 30 or more, 1,000+ organic visits a month, the link inside the article text.
Growth includes 3 links a month and Scale 6; Starter adds a link package. We always say that links are placed on other people’s sites.
Prove: the same buyer questions, every month
Every month we check the same 25, 50 or 100 buyer questions, by plan, and show who gets named. Dated screenshots sit next to numbers from your own Search Console and Analytics.
We do the work ourselves. You never get a list of advice to act on alone.
Measurement
How we measure who gets named
Measuring AI answers is new, so we show exactly how we do it. There are three parts: the question list, what we record, and how it shows in your report.
Building your list of buyer questions
We build the list with you, from what your buyers ask on sales calls and what they search for. Think of the questions a buyer asks before they shortlist anyone.
The size follows your plan: 25, 50 or 100 questions. The same list is checked every month, so the trend means something.
What we record for every question
For each question, every month, we record three things:
- Whether you are named
- Which competitors are named instead
- The date of the screenshot
We check ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers, and your report names each tool we checked. Every record is dated, so you can see when an answer changed. One screenshot is never shown as a trend.
How it shows in your monthly report
A one-page summary sits at the top, written for the person above you. Then comes the question table, and then your Search Console impressions and clicks.
Every number carries its source, so you can open your own accounts and see the same figures.
- The summaryOne page on top, for the person above you
- The question tableNamed or not, and who is named instead
- The screenshotsEvery one dated
- Search ConsoleImpressions and clicks, from your own account

Who it is for
Who our GEO work is for
SaaS teams missing from AI answers
Your buyers ask AI tools which software to shortlist, and the answers name someone else. We track those questions and work on them every month.
Businesses already investing in SEO
Your buyers now ask AI tools before they shortlist anyone. The same plan covers Google and the AI answers, with one monthly report for both.
Agencies that resell
Sell AI search to your clients under your own brand. Our name stays off the work, and we never name your clients.
Ads, email and social media are not part of our plans, so we point you to someone good. Here are all our services.
AI and people
People check what the AI tools will read
AI does the research, the first drafts and the routine checks. People who know SEO decide what we write, check every piece and sign it off.
That matters more here, because a wrong fact on your page can end up in an AI answer.
Straight talk
What we never promise
Nobody controls AI answers, just as nobody controls Google. So a place in them is not something any generative engine optimization agency can promise, us included.
We guarantee the work, the deadlines and the standard. Then we report what moved, after the fact, with a source for every number. How we handle claims and sources.

Questions about generative engine optimization
Straight answers on GEO, AEO and how we measure them.
What are generative engine optimization services?
Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work that helps a business show up when people ask AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI answers about its category. At Dices it is mostly the same work as good SEO, done properly: fix the site, publish pages that answer buyer questions, build authority on other sites, then check every month who gets named. It is part of every SEO plan.
What is the difference between GEO, AEO and SEO?
SEO aims for Google’s normal results. AEO, answer engine optimization, aims for the direct answer, such as answer boxes and AI answers. GEO aims for tools that write an answer, like ChatGPT and Gemini. The work overlaps heavily: a site search engines can read, pages that answer real questions, and authority from other sites. So we run all three as one plan.
Do we need a separate AEO agency and SEO agency?
No. Showing up in AI answers is mostly the same work as good SEO, done properly, so splitting it between two agencies means paying twice for overlapping tasks. At Dices, AI search is part of every SEO plan, with one owner for your account and one monthly report that covers Google and the AI tools.
How do you measure generative engine optimization?
We agree a list of the questions your buyers ask: 25, 50 or 100, depending on your plan. Every month we check them in the AI tools, record whether you are named and who is named instead, and save dated screenshots. The report puts that next to your Search Console impressions and clicks, so you can check every number yourself.
Can you guarantee that ChatGPT or Google's AI answers will name us?
No. Nobody controls AI answers, just as nobody controls Google, and anyone who promises a mention is guessing. We guarantee the work, the deadlines and the standard. We report what moved after the fact, with the date and source for every number. AI search is new, so we show you the method and measure from day one.
Why do AI answers change from month to month?
AI answers can change from one month to the next, even for the same question. That is why one screenshot proves little. We check the same buyer questions every month, save dated screenshots and show you the trend next to your Search Console numbers. Technical fixes can show within weeks; content usually takes three to six months to really move.
Which AI tools do you check?
Today we check ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers. Your report lists every tool we checked and the date, so you know exactly what each result covers. If we add a tool, it shows in your report from that month on.
Is generative engine optimization worth it for us?
It depends on whether your buyers ask AI tools about your category. The free audit shows where you stand before you spend anything. Because AI search is part of our SEO plans, you never pay extra to find out, and the same work improves how you show up in Google.
